Review by hotel critic
During my recent visit to Asa Spa for a delightful getaway, I was pleasantly surprised by the captivating ambiance of the hotel's restaurant. My table, situated by a window, offered splendid views of the Kuressaare episcopal castle, enhancing the dining experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal. I indulged in a two-course à la carte dinner, which featured local products-something I, as a wildlife conservationist, always appreciate. Each bite reflected the flavors of the region, leaving my palate rewarded. Not to mention, the buffet breakfast that showcased local delicacies was consistently satisfying, perhaps a bit too satisfying, given my tendency to indulge. Though the water temperature in the spa's large pool could have used a slight nudge upwards, the variety of saunas offered an inviting experience that felt exclusive, even amidst numerous guests. The property is well-located, merely a five-minute walk to both the beach and the historic castle, making it a seamless experience for anyone settling in for a culinary escape. A truly lovely way to discover a piece of Eastern Europe's hidden gems!
